1. The Interpreter (2005)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: The Interpreter offers a perfectly serviceable thriller – no more and no less. It benefits from a reasonably tight focus on plot and a lack of genre trappings but simply lacks the depth and intrigue necessary to make it more compelling. Starring Nicole Kidman, Sean Penn. Universal, $29.98, 10/4/2005.

3. Out Of Africa: Collector's Edition (1985)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While I can't whole-heartedly recommend Out Of Africa, I can't really steer you away from it either. No, the film didn't do a lot for me, but I can understand why a lot of others like it and why it's been so successful ... For those who enjoy this kind of film, Out Of Africa should make a nice addition to your collection. Others who are iffier toward the

Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Ultimately, The Yakuza proves unusual and successful. While the slow pacing can cause some impatience, the movie uses its time to better explore its characters and relationships. Because of that, the story prospers and boasts greater depth than usual. Starring Robert Mitchum, Ken Takakura. Warner, $21.99, 2/14/2017.

7. Tootsie: 25th Anniversary Edition (1982)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While I believe that Tootsie is over-rated, I do enjoy it. Tootsie is a classy comedy that offers quite a lot of solid humor despite a few missteps. It works because of a terrific cast, all of whom provide fine work ... This isn’t a great DVD, but it’s a decent upgrade from its predecessor, mainly due to the excellent documentary. 10. 3 Days Of The Condor [Blu-Ray] (1975)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: As a thriller, 3 Days of the Condor occasionally works. I like the basic story, and think it generally succeeds, but some slow parts make it drag at times. The Blu-ray boasts pretty good picture and audio, but it skimps on extras. The disc is worth a rental, but I don’t think you get enough to warrant a purchase given the Blu-ray’s relatively high list p
